The importance of mathematical problem posing has been acknowledged by many researchers. In this theoretical paper, we want to capture different meanings and aspects approaching it from three levels: (1) comparing definitions, (2) relating other constructs, (3) referring research teaching settings. first level is an attempt organise existing definitions posing. result analysis are five categories, which shows that there no consensus regarding the conceptualisations second level, examine how conceived community compared such as solving, creativity, or modelling.
